About Liftboss Inc.

Liftboss Inc. was established in 2006 by four partners Andre Gagnon, John Gagnon, Dale Beatty, and Marc Tougas to be a one stop shop dealership for all material handling needs. Having worked in the industry before, the four partners, pooled all their resources, previous experience together and designed a new business model to fill the much needed niche that the industry needed.  Liftboss Inc. is a full service material handling and construction dealership offering new and used equipment sales, a total parts department, short and long term rentals, equipment training, where trained and certified mechanics perform repairs either in shop or onsite with our 20+ service vehicles to handle on site repairs. Liftboss Inc. prides itself on quick response time to customer’s breakdowns. Through our authorized manufactures, we are able to offer our customers an array of new construction and material handling equipment, and we will ensure that you end up with the best most cost effective option.

2006 – Liftboss Inc opens a bay in Edmonton becoming an authorized dealer for Tailift, Worldwide, Hoist and Ausa rough terrain forklifts, providing a niche market of same 

2007 – After growing from one of 3 bays in less than 2 years, Liftboss purchases the building.

2008 – Growing at a rate of 120-150% in the first two years Liftboss Inc quickly expanded to fill their increasing customer demands Liftboss Inc signs a 5 year lease and opens a branch in SE Calgary, and becomes a dealer for TCM forklifts and reach trucks.

2009 – Liftboss Inc. becomes an authorized dealer for Factory Cat scrubbers and sweepers

2010 – Liftboss Inc. acquires the rights to distribute Ausa rough terrain machines for all of Canada and became the authorized parts dealer for Ausa for all of North America.

2012 – A huge development came in 2012, when Liftboss expanded their previous focus of only material handling and forklifts, and became the full line dealer for Doosan construction equipment in Alberta.  In the same year to meet their customers growing demands they also became a dealer for Genie and Blue Giant/Big Joe, both manufactures of personnel aerial lifts.

2013 – Due to continued overall growth in the Calgary market, Liftboss Inc. also purchases a building in the heart of the industrial sector in SE Calgary.

2017 – Liftboss Inc. is approached by JCB and offered and accepts the opportunity to sell JCB compact construction equipment.

2018 – Liftboss Inc. becomes the full line JCB construction dealer for the province of Alberta.  

2021 – Liftboss Edmonton moves out of their original location into a beautiful, completely renovated 15000sq/ft branch, located in the heart of Edmonton’s NW industrial area.  The 5 acres allows for a new demo center that allows customers to come to the branch, and run a number of pieces of equipment to ensure what they decide on, will work for what they need to do!!
